How to use Karvol Caps
Karvol capsules must not be taken by mouth. Carefully snip the top off the capsule with a pair of scissors, pointing the top downwards, away from the face.
 
For older children and adults, snip the top off one Karvol capsule and squeeze the contents onto a tissue or hankie and inhale the vapor freely. Alternatively, squeeze the contents of one Karvol capsule into a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam. At nighttime, the contents of a capsule can be squeezed onto the bedding or a hankie kept nearby, but avoid squeezing it onto an area where the skin will come into contact with it.
 
For babies over three months of age and young children, snip the top off one Karvol capsule and squeeze the contents onto a handkerchief tied securely near to, but out of the reach of, the child.
